Q: How much front travel is approved?
A: The frame is designed for 180 mm of travel. The fork can take up to 190 mm of travel maximum.
Note: Which brake adapter fits your fork depends on the fork model and the desired rotor size. If in doubt, have this checked by a specialist workshop.
Q: What is the shock's fitting dimension?
A: The shock requires a fitting dimension of 230 x 65 mm. The shock bushings measure 8 x 20 mm at the top and 8 x 30 mm at the bottom.
Q: Which shock models are approved for the Spindrift 4 CF?
A: Currently tested and approved by us is the FOX X2 Factory. For compatibility of other models, it's best to check with your specialist workshop or our Customer Success team.
Q: Can I run a coil shock – and what spring rate do I need?
A: Yes, a coil shock is possible. The right spring rate depends on your system weight:
